MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) announced that tropical depression "Lannie" has exited the Philippine Area of Responsbility (PAR). In a Facebook post at 10 a.m. on Saturday, the weather bureau said "Lannie" left the PAR as of 8 a.m.
Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon (habagat) will continue to prevail over Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Mimaropa and Calabarzon, bringing scattered rain showers or thunderstorms Pagasa said earlier in the day.
The rest of the country will have scattered rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa added that the western section of Northern Luzon would have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters. The rest of the country would have Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
